This Privacy Policy explains what information UpTrended collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have, when you visit or use uptrended.com — including creating a website account, using the contact form, or just browsing the site. It does not cover our mobile apps, which have their own privacy policies: Divux Privacy Policy and StreamSim Privacy Policy.

The short version: You can browse the site and read the blog without creating an account or giving us anything. If you sign up or contact us, we only collect what's needed to run that feature, and we never sell your data.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what's collected automatically, and what a service acting on our behalf collects when you use a specific feature.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, we (or the analytics providers described in Section 3) automatically collect standard technical data such as your approximate location (city/country level, derived from IP address), device and browser type, pages visited, referring page, and time spent on the site. This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your name or email unless you're signed in.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner; Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are cookieless and load by default. 5. Is your information transferred internationally?

UpTrended is operated from the United States, and our service providers listed above are US-based companies that store data on servers in the United States. If you're accessing the website from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

6. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your website account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it longer for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, typically no more than 12 months.

7. How do we keep your information safe?

Data in transit between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Passwords are never stored in plaintext — Supabase stores a secure hash. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from or about a child under 13, contact us at support@uptrended.com and we'll delete it promptly.

9. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing (such as marketing email, which you can unsubscribe from at any time). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@uptrended.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Do-Not-Track signals

Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no uniform industry standard for how to respond to it, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals differently from any other visit. You can still control analytics cookies through our cookie banner and Cookie Policy.

11. Do we make updates to this notice?

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we'll provide additional notice, such as posting a notice on the site.
