Privacy Policy

Effective: June 7, 2026 Last updated: June 7, 2026 Applies to: Divux (iOS & Android)
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how UpTrended ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Divux — our all-in-one productivity app. By using Divux, you agree to the practices described here. Please read it carefully.

1 Overview

Divux is a productivity app designed to help you manage your calendar, tasks, habits, focus sessions, notes, and personal statistics. We are committed to being transparent about the data we collect and giving you control over your information.

The short version: Most of your data stays on your device. We only collect what we need to make the app work well and improve your experience. We never sell your personal data.

2 Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you create a Divux account.
  • Profile details: Optional profile photo and display name.
  • App content: Tasks, habits, notes, and calendar events you create within the app. This data is stored locally on your device by default, and optionally synced to our servers if you enable cloud sync.
  • Support communications: Any messages you send us when requesting help or reporting issues.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Anonymous information about which features you use (e.g., focus timer sessions started, habits tracked), used solely to improve the app.
  • Crash reports: Automatic crash logs when the app encounters an error, to help us fix bugs quickly.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version, used for compatibility and debugging.

2.3 Calendar Data

If you grant Divux access to your device's calendar, we read your calendar events to display them within the app. We do not store your calendar data on our servers without your explicit consent to enable cloud sync.

You can revoke calendar access at any time through your device's Settings app. This will only affect the Calendar Sync feature — all other Divux features will continue to work normally.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Divux and its features.
  • Sync your data across devices when cloud sync is enabled.
  • Send you important app-related communications (e.g., password reset emails, security alerts).
  • Identify and fix bugs and technical issues using crash reports.
  • Understand how features are used in aggregate to improve the app experience.
  • Respond to your support requests and feedback.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data to serve you advertisements, build advertising profiles, or share it with data brokers.

4 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the app (e.g., cloud hosting, crash reporting). These partners are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process (e.g., a court order), we may disclose information. We will notify you when permitted by law.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your consent: Any other sharing will only occur with your explicit consent.

5 Data Storage & Security

Local-first storage: By default, your tasks, habits, notes, and focus sessions are stored locally on your device. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable cloud sync.

Cloud sync (optional): If you enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest on our servers using AES-256 encryption.

Retention: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

While we take security seriously and use industry-standard protections, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

6 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data. You can do this directly in the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Opt-out of analytics: Disable anonymous usage analytics in the app under Settings → Privacy → Usage Analytics.
  • Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in the Contact Us section below.

7 Children's Privacy

Divux is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

8 Third-Party Services

Divux integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Apple Calendar / Google Calendar: Used for calendar sync. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Crash reporting provider: Used to automatically collect crash logs to fix bugs. Only anonymized technical data is shared.
  • App stores (Apple App Store, Google Play): Your app download and purchase information is handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies.

9 Cookies & Tracking

The Divux mobile app does not use browser cookies. However, this website (uptrended.com) may use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on our website.

The app itself may use device-level identifiers (such as an anonymous installation ID) solely for the purpose of aggregating crash reports and usage analytics. These identifiers are not tied to your personal identity.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

Continued use of Divux after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
