Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026 Applies to: Divux (iOS)
This Privacy Policy for Divux explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your information. Divux is an all-in-one productivity app (tasks, notes, habits, focus timer, calendar, stats) that syncs your data across your devices using your account.

Questions or concerns? Email us at support@uptrended.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Summary of Key Points

  • What we collect: Your account details (email, name, optional profile photo), your app content (tasks, notes, habits, events, focus sessions), subscription status, crash reports, and transactional emails.
  • Sensitive data: We do not collect health, financial, biometric, or sensitive personal information.
  • Third parties: We use Supabase (database & auth), Sentry (crash monitoring), Superwall (subscriptions), Resend (email), Google (OAuth), and Apple (Sign In with Apple, App Store). Full details in Section 3.
  • Data sales: We never sell your personal data — ever.
  • Your rights: You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. You can delete your account directly inside the app.
The short version: Your productivity content is synced to your personal account so you can access it across devices. We only collect what's needed to run the app. We never sell your data.

1 What Information Do We Collect?

Account information (you provide this)

  • Email address — required to create an account and for login.
  • Display name — shown in your profile within the app.
  • Profile photo — optional; you can set one from your device library.
  • Password — stored as a secure hash by Supabase; we never see your plaintext password.

App content (synced to your account)

When you use Divux, your productivity content is stored locally on your device and synced to your account so it's available across devices. This includes:

  • Tasks, notes, habits, focus sessions, calendar events, streaks, and tags you create
  • Settings and preferences (theme, notification settings, app layout)
  • Soft-deleted items (held briefly before permanent deletion to support undo)

This content is tied to your user ID and stored in our Supabase database. It is not shared with other users or used for advertising.

Authentication data

  • Google OAuth: If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and display name. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Google data.
  • Apple Sign In: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple-provided email (which may be a relay address) and your display name. Apple handles authentication on their end.

Subscription and payment data

Divux offers a Pro subscription. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store). We do not receive your payment card details. We receive your subscription status (active, expired, or none) from Superwall, our subscription management platform, so the app knows whether to give you Pro features.

Crash and error reports (automatically collected)

When the app crashes or encounters an unexpected error, Sentry (our crash monitoring service) automatically collects:

  • Device model, iOS version, and app version
  • A stack trace showing where in the code the error occurred
  • Breadcrumbs — a sequence of recent in-app events leading up to the crash (e.g., "opened Notes tab", "tapped Add") — without capturing the content of your notes or tasks
  • Whether the crash was fatal or non-fatal

Crash reports help us fix bugs quickly. Your actual content (task text, note body, etc.) is not included in crash reports.

Transactional email data

When we send you an email (account confirmation, password reset, or account change notification), your email address is processed by Resend, our email delivery provider. We do not send marketing emails.

No analytics SDK: Divux does not include a behavioral analytics SDK (no Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase Analytics, etc.). The only telemetry collected is crash reports via Sentry.

2 How Do We Process Your Information?

We use the data we collect only for these specific purposes:

  • Provide the app: Store and sync your tasks, notes, habits, events, and other content across your devices via your account.
  • Authentication: Verify your identity when you sign in, and manage password resets and account security.
  • Subscriptions: Determine whether you have an active Divux Pro subscription so we can unlock the appropriate features.
  • Transactional communication: Send you emails you explicitly trigger — account confirmation, password reset, account changes. We do not send promotional emails.
  • Bug fixes and stability: Analyze crash reports from Sentry to identify and fix errors in the app.
  • Account deletion: When you delete your account (available in the app under Settings → Account), we permanently delete all your synced data from our servers.
  • Legal compliance: Retain minimal records as required by applicable law.

3 When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers that operate Divux, and only to the extent necessary for each service to function:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and edge functions. Your account data and synced app content are stored in a Supabase Postgres database dedicated exclusively to Divux (separate from any other UpTrended service). Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS in the United States.
    Supabase Privacy Policy
  • Sentry — crash and error monitoring. Device info, stack traces, and breadcrumbs from crashes are sent to Sentry's servers.
    Sentry Privacy Policy
  • Superwall — subscription and paywall management. Superwall receives your user ID and subscription status to determine which features to unlock. Payment processing is handled by Apple, not Superwall.
    Superwall Privacy Policy
  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend when we send you an account-related email.
    Resend Privacy Policy
  • Apple — App Store purchases and Sign In with Apple. Apple processes all subscription payments and handles Apple ID authentication on their end. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
    Apple Privacy Policy
  • Google — Google OAuth sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google authenticates you and shares your email and name with us. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
    Google Privacy Policy
  • Legal authorities: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or in response to a valid legal request.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4 Device Identifiers and Tracking Technologies

Divux is a native mobile app — it does not use browser cookies. However, the following device-level identifiers and storage mechanisms are used:

  • Local device storage (MMKV & SQLite): Your app content and settings are stored locally on your device using MMKV (key-value store) and SQLite (structured data). This data is under your full control and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
  • Sentry SDK: The Sentry crash reporting SDK may use a device-level installation identifier to group crash reports from the same device. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity.
  • Superwall SDK: The Superwall SDK tracks subscription and paywall interaction events using your user ID. No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are accessed.

5 How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

Divux supports two social sign-in methods as alternatives to email/password:

  • Sign in with Google: Google authenticates you and shares your email address and display name with us. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, or any other Google data. Your sign-in is processed via Supabase Auth using Google OAuth 2.0.
  • Sign in with Apple: Apple authenticates you and may share a real or relay email address along with your display name. Apple's relay address feature lets you hide your real email from us if you choose. Your sign-in is processed via Supabase Auth using Apple's identity token.

In both cases, we only use the information provided to create and maintain your Divux account. We do not use it to access your data on those platforms, send you marketing communications, or share it with advertisers.

6 Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

Divux is operated from the United States. Our primary service providers (Supabase, Sentry, Superwall, Resend) are US-based companies and store data on servers in the United States.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. The US may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country. By using Divux, you acknowledge this transfer. We rely on our service providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

7 How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

  • Account and app content: Retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (via Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app), all your synced data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
  • Soft-deleted items: Items you delete within the app are marked as deleted and permanently purged from the server within 30 days.
  • Crash reports (Sentry): Retained for 90 days by default, after which Sentry automatically deletes them.
  • Email delivery logs (Resend): Delivery status records are retained per Resend's standard retention policy (typically 30–90 days).
  • Local device data: Stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data in iOS settings.
All data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest in Supabase is encrypted using AES-256. No system is 100% secure — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

8 Do We Collect Information From Minors?

Divux is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use Divux or provide any information to us. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that account and its data promptly. If you believe we may have data from or about a child under 13, contact us at support@uptrended.com.

9 What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this directly inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) without contacting us.
  • Data portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt-out of processing: You may withdraw consent for data processing where we rely on consent as the legal basis. Note that withdrawing consent for essential processing (e.g., syncing) will prevent the app from functioning as designed.
  • Complaint: If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights (other than account deletion, which is in-app), contact us at support@uptrended.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Delete your account in-app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This immediately triggers permanent deletion of all your synced data from our servers — no email required.

10 Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

11 Do We Make Updates to This Notice?

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.

12 How Can You Review, Update, or Delete the Data We Collect From You?

Based on the applicable laws of your country, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, details about how we have processed it, correct inaccuracies, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please fill out and submit a data subject access request.
