3. Micro poll (chat vote). One binary tied to tempo. "Chat, type fake if you think they swing back, type real if you want us to stack B."
4. Pause gate (go quiet). Silence to chat before first contact on the new site. "Quiet on my count, FIGHT gate if they show."

Walkthrough: defense fake on Ascent

You hold B site. Minimap shows three icons A main. IGL says rotate. Chat went quiet when the question mark ping appeared. Say this before you leave elbow:

"Three A main, looks like a hit not a fake, rotating B through mid. I take market, Sage holds cat default. Chat, type fake if you think they drop back, type real if we should stack site. Quiet on my count, FIGHT gate if they show B."

You are five-stacked A. Utility stalls. Minimap shows heavy C. IGL calls rotate to C. You carry spike. Chat needs to know risk, not every footstep.

"Heavy C, A is dry, rotating C long. I take long with spike, duelist clears garage. Chat, type fast if you want instant hit or slow if we default first. Silent after we hit the choke."

Attack rotates fail when streamers yap through narrow chokes. Own names long versus garage once. Pause gate before the first duel. If you die on entry, switch to Death Desk on spectate. If you plant, run POST Loop on the hold, not RAMP.

Rehearse the four lines in StreamSim with fake chat typing fake or real while you sprint on a deathmatch map. If you cannot finish RAMP before you reach the new angle, shorten Report to count only.

Common mistakes (and the fix)

• Silent rotates with no setup. Lurkers see crosshair shake and hear footsteps with zero context. Fix: four RAMP lines, then gate.
• Casting every step. "Now I am in mid, now I am in market" blocks rotate timing calls. Fix: Own once, Pause gate before contact.
• Skipping the fake read in Report. Viewers cannot tell a hit from a fake on a phone screen. Say which you think it is every time.
• Open-ended chat questions. "What site?" gets no typing. Fake or real gets votes.
• Using RAMP after plant. Once spike is down, RAKE or HALF Loop owns the round. RAMP is pre-plant movement only.
• Negotiating rotate on stream mic. Debate belongs in post-round. In-round, say your read once and move.
